Journal Distribution Program
The journal distribution program is targeted at international libraries affiliated with business institutions that teach marketing concepts and/or perform marketing research. The AMAF began this effort in the early 1990s with a focus on donating AMA journals to libraries located in Central and Eastern Europe. Thanks to the generosity of the Sheth and LAMP Foundations, as well as the AMA, grants were made available to expand the program globally, increasing the number of libraries reached by the program every year. To date the program has contributed over 100,000 volumes to libraries serving developing market economies in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Russia. The journals currently being distributed electronically are the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and Journal of International Marketing.
The AMAF welcomes applications from business libraries serving emerging economies in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Russia with a significant need for quality marketing materials. Marketing institutions must indicate a lack of funding or inability to obtain recent marketing information.
To apply, complete the online application below by November 30. Please note that in order to receive electronic journal subscriptions, international colleges and universities must have the ability to access the internet.
The criteria for selection is based on the number of students studying marketing at the institution, the need for marketing materials, and how the materials would be put to use.
